This Mini Lazy Kate is an ultra lightweight & portable option to help you ply from your spindle bobbins. Also compatible with smaller spinning wheel bobbins(max diameter 7cm or 2 3/4", max height 12.5cm or 5"). If you only need the Bobbin Tension rings, see this [link]. Please Note:

Lazy kates do NOT come with clamps - there are many available out there and should be picked out determined by what works best based on individual preferences and situations.

If you purchase an untensioned Mini Lazy Kate, you are welcome to have the hook added on for free if you mention that you would like it in your order comments - if you decide to add a hook in the future, I am not responsible for any damages and will not replace it if the hook snaps or otherwise damages the kate when you add it on.

This Mini Lazy Kate is compatible with smaller spinning wheel bobbins as long as they are smaller than the max diameter and height(max diameter 7cm or 2 3/4", max height 12.5cm or 5"), and have in inner diameter that is larger than 0.8cm or 5/16". Select the "Tension(NO RINGS)" option for a tensioned lazy kate for compatible bobbins.

Care Instructions/Warnings

This Mini lazy kate is made of PLA & PLA+(Both are renewable plastics made from plant starch). This material begins to warp at 60°c/140°F. Please handle parts carefully so as to not damage them.

Troubleshooting

If rods are too tight/too loose, try moving different rods to different slots around the kate.
If that doesn’t help, try:
Rods are too snug - Slightly sand down the edges of the triangle base of the rod.
Rods are too loose - apply a thin layer of white glue(or tape) around the edges of the triangle base of the rod & let it dry completely before putting it back into your kate.
