[In-Stock] Niddy Noddy

This 3d printed niddy noddy breaks down into a convenient little pack that's perfect for travel or if you'd like a tool that can be stored away in a small space, and comes in 3 skein sizes - 1y(36"), 1.5y(54"), & 2y(72"). They are designed to be used with spacers that hold the center bar a bit further apart, which are removed to make the niddy noddy shorter and release the tension on your newly wound skein to make removal easier.

They are quite sturdy but winding skeins under high tension is not recommended. All 3 sizes use the same crossbars, and the 1.5y niddy noddy uses the 1y center bar with 2 extra pieces added, hence the small price increase for a set with these 2 sizes. The spacers for the 1y & 1.5y are not interchangeable with the 2y niddy noddy.

The slots on the parts can be a bit snug when they're brand new so you may need to put together and take apart your niddy noddy a few times before it gets a bit easier.

Care Instructions/Warnings

This Niddy Noddy is made of PLA & PLA+(Both are renewable plastics made from plant starch). This material begins to warp at 60°c/140°F. Please handle parts carefully so as to not damage them.
